Do I mean as much as you mean to me?
Dissimilar toned lobes scanned the isolated harbor as delicately worn out timber planks moaned when I treaded upon them quietly. With my pink tongue draped alongside of my jaw it curled carefully at the tip. The moon held it’s throne high within the sky, stars dotting all around like little warriors. My strawberry red pelt specked with a shade of blue and a faint gray tint was shining brilliantly from the moons light. The radiance reflecting off of my unique coat makes me almost appear to glow, the scattered silvery white hairs soaking every crumb of illumination available. My right orb was the clearest aqua pool, almost like the great moon itself though the brown orb to the left had a chocolate quality to it. The tender moods that were always contained within my orbs are almost smuggled by the constant loneliness that flicked to and fro. I was indeed lonesome, feeling like an alien to these lands that are quite unfamiliar. I finally felt satisfied enough with my newly claimed terra that I had wandered here. The murky sapphire waters lapped at the shore while gently shifting the dock as I stood. The pool of water mirrored the sky, each ripple making the stars dance and the moon quiver making a stunning play-like scene. A smile creased my kissers and my medium sized frame padded to the very end of the dock, lean muscles rippling under my coat as I sat down. If one couldn’t tell, I was carrying the bloodlines of an Australian Cattle dog, my cropped tail just a normal thing that the breed usually had done. I didn’t carry the usual blue mural like many did; instead I had a more reddish tone streaked against a silvery blue hue. That only consisted on my lower bod, my perked auds a darker reddish tint and my face speckled with strawberry dots with a silvery white base.
A faint sigh was released as I inhaled the sweet aroma of the water as my gaze drifted to my reflection staring blankly back at me. I locked my gaze upon my own blue orb, shivering with the lifeless, vacant tone sparkling within it. I wasn’t blind, as most thought; it was just a stray gene that happened to stick to me. I blinked a few times, watching my own movements entertaining myself with the continuous boredom that faithfully followed me. I really wanted to take somebody home tonight, though if none came I would be fine with that as well. It would be even better to share this magical night with another as well, for watching the stars dance alone bites big time. My heart ached with the constant longing, the desire to have someone by my side. I just wasn’t the type of dog to want to be alone. Maybe…just maybe I can find my own soul mate on this spectacular night. Shaking my crown gently I drifted my gaze across the harbor soaking in the skies display with splendor wishing that another would come and fill in the empty space beside me. I didn’t want to break the eternal silence consuming the night so if another wanted to find me it would have to be by scent.
Or am I just another face to add to your memories?
